Renee Meisner-Bogdahn, LCSW
…..
I am a California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 6+ years of experience providing case management, advocacy, and evidence-based therapy in a variety of settings. I received my Masters of Social Work from San Jose State University in 2014, and my undergraduate degree in Anthropology from Colorado College in 2010. I have worked in community mental health, child welfare, and pediatric medicine, for institutions such as El Dorado County Health and Human Services, Encompass Community Services, Early Head Start, and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.
I have specific training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-focused CBT, Mindfulness- Based Stress Reduction, and Solutions Focused Brief Therapy. I have expertise in treating traumatic stress, anxiety, and mood disorders.
I delight in having deep conversations with others, engaging in positive change, and continually learning about advances in the field of mental health and trauma-informed care. Outside of work, you will find me exploring the wilderness and open spaces of California by foot, paddle board, split board, or bicycle.
If you haven’t already, see my therapeutic approach page for further information on the mental health services I offer. Please reach out to me on my contact page with questions.
